Hip-pop is generally believed to be emerged in 1970s,it was devided into four groups:

1         D.J   2  M.C  3  Dancer  4  Graf . But among them ,the persons who were most connected with music were D.J and M.C.They were good partners at work.Now let me give you a brief introduction about the development of the Hip-pop music.

DEVELOPMENT:

1970～1979

In the Bronx district of New York,D.J Kool Herc and Grand Wizard Theodore were the first to play D.J＆M.C，besides them there were:  Coke La Rock、Cowboy and Melle Mel.These people who mentioned here are the foreunners of Hip Hop. 

1979～1983 
The first hip-pop band was emerged in New York in 1979,its name was Sugarhill Gan's，their song“Rapper's Delight”had becomed the first Hip Hop song.Grandmaster、Flash、Afrike Bambaataau and Soulsonic Force these bands were come into existence after  Sugarhill Gan's. Then some musical companies asked these bands to make records,and at that time Americans came to realized that    Hip Hop can make money. 

1983～1987 
LL Cool J、 Fat Boys and Salt 'N' Pepa were emerged at this time，in addition with the very popular band Beastie Boys (野獸男孩) and so on,they brought the Hip Hop music to the music world,from then on Hip Hop began to improve rapidly.

1987～1989
This is the golden age of Hip Hop.Some big men such as Rrs One、Boogre Dain Productions、Epmd and Public Enemy,they developed the Hip Hop into defferent styles.At this time ,Hip-pop could be heard over radio and TV everywhere. 

1992～1993 
This is the time when the Hip-pop was most prospouse in the West（西岸）,the most influencign singers were Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dog.They promted the Hip Hop in the West. 

1993～1995 
This is the time when the Hip-pop was most prospouse in the East（東岸）New York,but the musical style was totally different between the West and East.In the West,the main stream  was the rap of G Music Rap,while in the East there was no a particular kind of rap,what the singers used in the East were never used in the West.They add more Bass in their music,inspite of piano,they used many old sound in the old Chinese Kongfu movie.

While in the West,the differences had become more and more distincted,both in the metre and the way to rap .

1995～1997 
From then on the West and the East had confronted with each other in music,M.C and Rap，from  music and the composition of rap they sneered at each other.2 Pac and Notorious,the two super popstars in the West and the East,were shot died in the confrontation. 

1997～Now 
After 2 Pac and Notorious B.I.G.sacrificed，the confrontations between the West and the East have released a lot.Notorious B.I.G. left all his caree to Puff Daddy after he died,and Puff Daddy dosen’t let down Notorious B.I.G.’s expectation.He puts his own style in the music and makes it reaches the summit.Almost everybody kowns who is Puff Daddy,and the media are eager to play his music.
