今年土地日宣传的主题是"节约集约用地，促进科学发展"。 据悉，我省现有耕地598 .83万公顷，人均耕地仅为0.07公顷，人多地少的矛盾突出。
今年我省将严格控制土地供应总量，将停止高档别墅和高尔夫球场等的用地审批。
同时强化土地的开发整理，将筹资10多亿对1000万亩土地进行专项整理，项目完成后将新增耕地100万亩，建成600万亩稳产高产基本农田。
The theme of this year's land day is "optimizing land use". The total area of arable land in Sichuan is less than 6 million hectares, with only 0.07 hectare per capita.
The sharp contrast between the large population and small land resource reserve has prompted the province to control the commercial land supply this year, closing the door for the approval of the commercial projects such as luxurious villas and golf courts construction.
Meanwhile, the province plans to invest more than 1 billion yuan into the land rehabilitation for 10 million Chinese mu of land, or about 660,000 hectares. The project is expected to increase the arable land area by 1 million Mu, and improve the land quality for 6 million Mu.
